I am from Ypsilanti, Michigan. I wanted the key lime pie they were sold out. My husband tried the lemon cup cake it was the best he ever had from Mattie's bakery. I tried the chocolate pecan cup cake it was love at first bite. I definitely will be back.

Cuban sandwich is incredible. The onion rings are crispy, sweet, and savory. All the food was incredible. Made from scratch cooking. Fancy cupcakes, pies, and ice cream for dessert. Very friendly and welcoming environment.

We came for desert! But we left with two 2go boxes that had more than enough food for both of us! We got the jerk spare ribs, the beef brisket, collards, beans, corn bread and both sweet and hot sauce. Delish!!!!!! And the cupcakes? Key lime & raspberry chocolate were so good! Helpful, friendly staff. Clean & comfortable. A must do in Port Canaveral!

No BS the best food in this tourist area. We spend the days fishing Jetty Park and the surrounding areas and always look for good food nearby. Found Ludz today and the Jerk chicken Foodie Bowl was awesome. Our new go to place in the port area. Service was 15 star, yes 15...

After our flight was canceled, we stopped here to pass the time and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming us in with all our suitcases, which was such a relief. We felt obligated to eat here, and honestly, we’re so glad we did—because the food was AMAZING! I had the best sliced brisket of my life. The sides were delicious, and everything had that distinct, homemade, family-recipe touch that’s hard to find these days. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. This place turned a stressful day into a memorable one. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Amazing new BBQ place at the port. First time visiting since it opened. We were met by really friendly couple that owns the place, really nice! We tried the ribs and wow! They were great, very tender. We also tried the shredded jerk pork in an amazing BBQ sauce. Noticed the great looking cheese cake, key lime and red velvet cake. We will definitely be back.

Love love love this family-owned (and veteran-owned) foodie spot! Little Mattie is a great host, and Peter knows his way around the kitchen. The Caribbean/BBQ menu is simple but delicious! Sandwiches, Lil Foodie plates (meat and a side), Big Foodie plates (more meat and 2 sides), seafood trays (for solo and group efforts), and AMAZING baked goods (the Pineapple Concussion was like a delicious Pina Colada cupcake)! Indoor and outdoor patio seating. There are some great restaurants at The Cove @ Port Canaveral, but Ludz is joining the rotation! UPDATE: Mattie's Delectable Desserts needs to be your new cheat day! Every cupcake is better than the last! Loved the Mango, Little Mattie! Thanks! UPDATE 2: Not that they needed it, but Ludz is new-and-improved! A fresh coat of paint, an updated menu (don't worry, the oldie-but-goodies are still there), and NOW SERVING BREAKFAST!!! Traditional breakfast favorites and unique, Jamaican-inspired Ludz originals! And don't forget a delicious slice of sweet potato pie! The peach sweet potato pie was amazing! Thanks, Little Mattie!
